Friends of the Family was born from a painful personal tragedy: the abuse of a beloved grandmother in a nursing home. Our founder, Rebekah LaFontaine, saw firsthand the failure of impersonal, institutional nursing homes. It ignited a fire, a vow to build a better way.
In 2012, Rebekah took ownership of the home care company with a clear mission: to provide professional senior care rooted in dignity, safety, and genuine connection.
